Greetings friends,
It's been some time since I have sent a newsletter out, but I'm delighted to say that things are happening and the musician's life begins to resume.
This summer passed quickly, with a few outdoor shows both here at our home and some other local farm concerts we played. People are so ready for live music, and it's not hard to be careful and do all the protocols. I felt tears in my eyes at each show to see all the people there to hear music again. We have a newfound appreciation for the connection of concerts and will never again take it for granted that we can share music in person so easily as we did for so long. We are still getting cancels for the larger festivals but there are several small events still happening as of now. Next year will be a lively one if all goes well.
As the leaves turn and cool temperatures prevail I reflect on the last 18 months and feel such a mixture of humbleness, gratefulness, and sadness for the losses that so many have experienced. Like many others, it has also been a creative time finding new ways to make and share art. The unexpected success of my barn store, the joyful mosaic classes on the patio, book club, and small gatherings with friends are all so meaningful. Our house has had many artistic upgrades and I love my craft basement, spending time there every day.
I hope that you are experiencing more and more freedom and joy doing the things you love and seeing the people and places you enjoy. As I say in every newsletter, I am delighted to hear from you anytime if you have questions. I love to hear how you are doing, what you are making, newfound things to love.
You will find below the next live events we have. They are all local to Oregon or Washington so if you are one of my many friends across the country just scroll on down to the best part...photos and videos of Nigel the famous orange kitty. :)
Thank you so much for staying connected.
Lisa Lynne
