It is very helpful that we continue income at this time as we seek to create connections to each other and maintain parish life. If you are not a pledger at Transfig, please do use our ‘virtual offering plate’ on the front page of our website to make a contribution to our work as you are able.

Everyone’s invited to….
Joyful Noise Plus —volunteers needed!
Sundays @ 9 am on zoom
An interactive morning prayer style service for everyone!
Come and join us Sunday mornings at 9 am for 30 minutes of Joyful Noise on zoom. Featuring favorite hymns, Godly Play stories and interactive prayers this service offers a joyful, spirit-filled online worship experience. Add your voice to our Joyful Noise—we need readers, storytellers and someone to lead the Lord’s Prayer each week. Telling the story is a great way to think about our favorite Bible stories in a new way. No experience is necessary and the scripts for the story will be provided for you. Please take a look at the Sign Up Genius, https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60B094FAAAD29A3FB6-joyful and volunteer to add your voice!

Invitation to join Sacred Ground, a faith-based dialogue on race
|
Epiphany, St. Peter's, Transfiguration, Good Shepherd, and Holy Family are sponsoring a Sacred Ground circle to meet this summer.
Sacred Ground is a film- and readings-based dialogue series on race, grounded in faith. Small groups are formed (about 10-12 participants) to walk through chapters of America’s history of race and racism while weaving in threads of the family story, economic class, and political and regional identity.
We are planning eleven gatherings, which include an introduction and the 10-part series built around a powerful online curriculum of documentary films and readings that focus on Indigenous, Black, Latino, and Asian/Pacific American histories as they intersect with European American histories.
Sacred Ground is part of Becoming Beloved Community, The Episcopal Church’s long-term commitment to racial healing, reconciliation, and justice in our personal lives, our ministries, and our society. This series is open to all and is specially designed to help white people talk with other white people. Participants are invited to peel away the layers that have contributed to the challenges and divides of the present day – all while grounded in our call to faith, hope and love.
We will offer Sacred Ground by Zoom, with possible in-person gatherings, to be determined once we have finalized the list of participants.
