Visit the Seed Barn for early spring sprouting
We love to see growth at the garden, and every day is different - especially now. The growth doesn't stop at the Garden, we carry experiences and sparked interests with us home and into the world. In keeping with this: FREE SEEDS for home!

With the help of Playful Nature Explorers, the seeds in our Seed Barn are being replenished regularly. So, stop by the Seed Barn in the Kitchen Garden and start growing! Just add dirt, water, and time - you'll have your own little oasis of deliciousness.

Remember, the last frost date is May 15th, so keep your early started plants safe and warm 'til around then. Afterwards (June 1st for warm soil loving plants) direct sow to your heart's content.

gaia circle spring
Several Gaia Circle participants plant seeds in a garden bed at ICG
Spring Gaia Circle is bigger and better than ever! Our group has been busy planting, building, exploring and having fun around the garden and beyond. We are so grateful to our partners at the Advocacy Center and Rural Youth Services, and the generous support from the City Federation of Women’s Organizations, Women Building Community for making this amazing program possible.
We appreciate you
Two small children play in the HONAZ tube and large tires.
We reached and surpassed our $10k goal, raising $11,654 from more than 150 donors and unlocked a matching gift, for a total of $23,308 to support ICG's increased scholarship need this year. A huge thanks to VIC Radio for their 50 Hour Marathon, which benefitted ICG, and to each and every one of you who stepped up and gave generously.

Equitable access to nature play is not possible without you.
