| | Meet Kim O'Neil
Hi, I’m Kim, and I am excited to serve at FUMCR as Director of Senior Ministry starting September 1. I have been on the staff at FUMCR for 23 years, where I served as Children’s Choir Director and Administrative Assistant for our Music Ministry. I grew up in the United Methodist Church, where my father, Fred Treviño, served as pastor in various churches in California, Hawaii, Arizona, and Texas, including as Director of Senior Adult Ministry here prior to Dan Flanagan.
It was my goal to work in a church, so I attended Oklahoma City University, where I pursued a degree in Religion/Christian Education. Music has always been a big part of my life! I have been singing in our church’s Chancel Choir for the past 25 years and will continue to sing as I take on this new and exciting role with our senior adults.
I have been married to Stuart for 39 years and have 2 grown children, Rachel and Kyle, who have both served at FUMCR in various ways! I love musical theater, reality TV, playing games, Mexican food, and riding my Peloton!
I know how important community is in the life of the church, and I look forward to building relationships and walking with you in our “seasoned” time of life together as we continue to live out our faith at FUMCR! Do not hesitate to reach out to me at koneil@fumcr.com or 972.996.0108. I would love to get to know you!
