Take our Survey! - Extended Deadline

The Nutrition and Aging Resource Center (NRCNA) partnered with the National Association of Nutrition and Aging Services Programs (NANASP) to conduct a short survey of senior nutrition programs, including Area Agencies on Aging and local senior nutrition providers about medically tailored meals (MTM).

The input from this survey will be used to collect data and create helpful resources that will be housed on the NRCNA website. We're hoping to collect a wide range of responses. Please take this survey today!

Responses are due October 7.

Survey Opportunity: Obtaining Funding — Current Practices, Challenges, and Successes

Feedback due Thursday, October 31, 2024

Funding has been cited as a challenge for providers, including Area Agencies on Aging and local service providers. Iowa State University is completing a study to better understand current funding practices, including common funding sources and challenges. The survey is anonymous and will be used by the Nutrition and Aging Resource Center to provide more relevant and useful resources related to funding.

As an organization part of the aging network, please complete this ~20-minute survey, by October 31. We ask that only one survey be completed per organization, so you can fill it out as a team if needed. You may begin, stop, and return to the survey at any point using this link to finish (as long as you’re using the same device).

Don’t Forget to Register for the Healthy Aging Symposium - Thursday, September 26, 2024

The Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and Trust for America’s Health are hosting the 2024 National Healthy Aging Symposium: Innovation Across the Age-Friendly Ecosystem. ACL’s Alison Barkoff, Kari Benson, and Lori Gerhard will join leaders from across government and the private sector for the conversation.

This symposium will connect federal, state, and local public health and aging leaders — as well as other stakeholders — to the latest science, best practices, and innovative interventions to improve the lives of older Americans.

This free symposium will take place virtually on Thursday, September 26, 2024. You can view the full agenda on the Age-Friendly Public Health Systems website.
