The National Western Center CAC will meet on Thursday, September 29 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at the National Western Complex Centennial Room -- 4655 Humboldt St., Denver.

NATIONAL WESTERN CENTER NEWS

Program Management RFQ/P Issued

The NWC has issued an RFQ/P for Program Management of the National Western Center construction. The program management team will supplement, assist and provide large-scale program delivery expertise to NWCO, and its partners, in the development and management of the Program (basis of design), particularly with respect to the management, administration, cost, schedule, procurement ideologies, campus-wide policy development and control of scope during the planning, design and construction of Phase 1 and Phase 2. The program management team will be selected by the EOC and contracted by City and County of Denver Public Works.

National Western Center Campus Receives State Grant to Advance Historic Preservation Work
The National Western Center campus project will receive a $200,000 grant from the History Colorado State Historical Fund to study the potential adaptive use of the Stadium Arena as a year-round public food market that would promote Colorado-grown and -made products.

Executive Oversight Committee (EOC): Thursday, October 27 from 1:30 - 2:30 pm in Webb Building Room 4.F.6.

Event Programming Advisory Subcommittee (EPAS): Meetings are on hold until deemed necessary by the subcommittee chairs.

Capital Funding Alignment Subcommitte (CFAS): Wednesday, October 26 from 10:00 am-11:30 am in Webb Building Room 4.I.4.

Mile High United Way and the City of Denver Partner to Support GES Schools - Attend the Announcement on Monday, September 26

Mayor Michael B. Hancock, Christine Benero, President and CEO of Mile High United Way, and Anna Jones, Executive Director of the North Denver Cornerstone Collaborative (NDCC), will join Denver Public Schools Superintendent Tom Boasberg to announce an investment in Globeville, Elyria, and Swansea schools.
