 There are no technology requirements beyond a personal or tablet computer, with access to the Internet. Part of this implementation includes the option to utilize electronic signatures for release of medical records. Furthermore, this innovation will significantly reduce the time it takes to receive your claim payments. Seven Corners will provide web-cast training on how to use the portal before the system is deployed. The below is a sneak peek at the AXISTM Provider Portal. Seven Corners in the News Conferences United States Travel Insurance Association Conference 2012 Jim Krampen, Co-Founder, Principal and Executive of Seven Corners; along with Maria Caceres, Director of Seven Corners Assist, and Curt Carlson, Vice President of Sales, attended the 8th annual UStiA Conference in Phoenix, Arizona. The conference took place March 11-14, and had over 170 participants from travel insurance companies, assistance companies, air transport companies, underwriting agencies, retailers, and other providers who work in the healthcare industry. Jim is an active member of the UStiA, serving as a Board Member and Chairperson of their Membership Committee. International Travel Insurance Conference Americas Seven Corners' Co-Founder, Jim Krampen; along with Maria Caceres, Director of Seven Corners Assist, Curt Carlson, Vice President of Sales, and Suzanne Munson, Director of Marketing, recently attended the 2nd annual ITIC Americas, which took place March 19-21 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Jim was part of the steering committee for this year’s event, and the agenda related to the most topical issues relevant to all sectors of the travel insurance market today. Maria was a speaker in the panel session entitled, "Challenges in Accessing Hospital Care in the Caribbean Region", along with fellow travel assistance experts Dr. Jose Natalio Redondo of Grupo Rescue Dominican Republic, and Shai Gold of International Triage LLC. The panel discussed the quality of medical services attained throughout the region over recent years, with very similar standards to hospitals located in the United States and Canada.
