Prayer for Rector Search
Almighty and everlasting God, you know our needs even before we ask. As one congregation, we pray that we may be open to where your spirit leads. We thank you for the leaders of our parish. May your loving presence guide us as we seek the next rector for St. Stephen’s. All this we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen

Seeking Bread Guild Members
Over the last two years the Bread guild had lost several members and we are currently down to five bakers. I am so thankful for those who have continued to give their time and talent to providing bread for our Sunday services.
I personally am not fond of the wafers that are used when there is no home baked bread. If you feel this way and like to bake, we would love to have you as part of our team. Our current team has been baking the bread for many years and we would love to have some new bakers join the team to carry on this St. Stephen’s tradition.
We currently are scheduled to bake every five weeks, however, with additional members it would be less often.
We would love to have a few more men on our team as well as women, so guys “don’t be shy”.
If you feel that this is a calling for you, please contact Gretchen Burdin at (208) 841-8805 or eMail Gretchen

Bishop Brian Thom Retirement Planning | |
As part of the celebration of his 13 years of service, The Bishop Transition committee is planning a series of going away parties prior to the retirement of Bishop Brian.
The Bishop has requested no personal gifts, and instead, would like any donations to go to Paradise Point. In that spirit, all retirement donations made will be used to set up an endowment for Paradise Point. A pass through account has been set up for this purpose.
Any parishioner who would like to honor his 13 years of service by donating to this effort needs to make their check out to “ The Episcopal Diocese of Idaho” and on the memo line write “PP endowment Bishop Brian”
A check will be presented at his final going away party on June 12, 2022 at Paradise Point.
