SOMETHING NEW! Drive-In Service at St. Matthew on Pentecost Sunday, May 31, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. We will be worshiping together from the East Parking Lot on Campus.

PARKING - Parking will be guided/assigned for the Drive-In Service so that all vehicles will be facing the school loading dock by door #3. Using an FM transmitter, people will be able to hear the service by tuning in a designated station.

RESERVATIONS - To attend the Drive-In Service, please call the church office to make a reservation. Depending on the interest level an additional service could be planned.

STAY TUNED - Further information will be made available.

Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed.          
Communion will be offered on the following dates:
May 24, & 31 from 9:00am-11:00am .
Those of you participating in the Drive-In Communion, are asked to please consider bringing canned food items to help the COOL Food Pantry.

We are now offering Bible Studies virtually!

The Men's Bible Study is held on Saturday mornings at 9:00 a.m.
Continuing the study of the Gospel of Mark, they'll be studying the various healing miracles of Jesus.

An Adult Bible Study will be held Sundays at 8:00 a.m.
Current topic is The Minor Prophets

CHRISTIAN OUTREACH OF LUTHERANS (COOL) a food pantry for some of the neediest families in Lake County. Please bring a can of food/box of cereal with you when you come on Sunday Morning for the Drive-In Communion. worship. The food item for the month of May is Canned Fruit.   Thank you for supporting this outreach ministry.
Taking Faith Home is available each week on the church office counter.

Monday Bible Study Leader Tim Hetzner offers a daily devotional via email here .

This week our Emerging Skills and Interests were: Exploring Changes & Opposites/ABC Countdown. We reviewed our numbers this week and the Letters of the Week were P-T. The Theme for Show & Share was to wear your favorite outfit, while sharing your favorite toy. In Religious Studies, the preschoolers learned about Paul's Conversion.
There will be no eLearning on Monday, May 25, 2020 in observance of Memorial Day.
