December is here and we are on our way to wrapping up 2023!

As we look out at the world today, we see that our lives are increasingly busier and busier. Please try to slow down a little during this holiday season and reflect on the good fortune that so many of us enjoy. This is also the time to reach out and lend a hand to others that may be in need or are experiencing some difficulties in their world. Sometimes just giving an hour or two of your time to visit with someone can make a big difference. For others, the simple gift of food might help get them through the holidays with a little less anxiety.

Giving back is one of the most enlightening and heartwarming experiences that a person can do. We have made it a part of our team’s commitment to this community and to our family and friends that we will always do whatever we can to lend a hand, open our hearts and open our arms to others. We know and understand that the success that we have experienced for the past several years would never have been possible without our deep-rooted belief in giving back to others. Eat, drink and be merry….. We want everyone to have a fun holiday season, however please remember to also have a safe holiday season.

Coldwell Coats for Vets

The Shafer Team is collecting winter coats for veterans and their families for this winter. We are looking for all shapes and sizes of coats and jackets in new or gently used condition! Donations will be made to Western Region One Source Center for distribution to local veterans and their families. Call our Office Manager- Stacy Hite 970.210.7553 and we will gladly come and pick up your donations if needed.

Happy December! November went by so fast and I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Now, it is December, and at the end of the month is Christmas. So to get you into the Holiday spirit, I want to give you some amazing Christmas movies to watch with whomever you are sharing the holidays.

Favorites for the entire family include: Home Alone, Home Alone 2, The Christmas Chronicles, The Christmas Chronicles 2, Elf On The Shelf, The Grinch, Rudolf The Red Nosed Reindeer, Jingle All The Way, A Boy Called Christmas, The Santa Claus, Noelle, Frozen, and Frozen 2. All of these movies are G or PG and are funny, adventurous tales for everyone.

The best Christmas movies for teens and adults; National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Die Hard, 4 Christmases and Elf are all super exciting and entertaining to watch.

I have seen all of these movies and I give them a big “thumbs up”! Pop some popcorn, make some hot chocolate, curl up with a cozy blanket and get nestled in for a movie marathon Holiday Season. I can’t wait to see you guys in January. Have yourself a merry little Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!!
