Two for One Broadway
Monday, July 8 | 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.

This delightful, one-hour cabaret, presenting Broadway musicals from the 1930s to the 1980s, features favorite tunes from seven Broadway shows, including Annie Get Your Gun, West Side Story, Fiddler on the Roof, Grease, Cats, and more.

Old Time Radio & the Great American Song Book
Tuesday, July 9 | 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.

This show uses both slides and sound clips featuring some of the greatest songwriters of the 20th century as they were heard on radio - including Johnny Mercer, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, and a rare 1934 performance from George Gershwin!

50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing
The Moon Landing -
50th Anniversary
On July 20, 1969, NASA's astronauts, Mission Commander Neil Armstrong and pilot Buzz Aldrin, became the first Americans to land on the moon in he Apollo 11 space journey. Historian Jim Gibbons will discuss the space goal proposed by President John F Kennedy in 1961 and how this mission was accomplished for the U.S. in 1969.

Drop-In Movie Matinee:
First Man
We'll supply the popcorn! Come enjoy a movie with us at BPL's Movie Matinee and enter for a chance to win a copy of that day's movie on DVD. Movie giveaway will be held following the conclusion of the movie and you must be present to win.

Wednesday, July 17 | 1:00 – 3:30 p.m.

A look at the life of the astronaut, Neil Armstrong, and the legendary space mission that led him to become the first man to walk on the Moon on July 20, 1969.

Learn how to protect yourself and fend off an attacker with advice from Bloomingdale Police Officer Dawn Odoi and a physical demonstration of self-defense moves from Tai Chi Instructor, Bob Plucinsky. For adult women and teen girls only. Registration is required. Click here to register.
