Genealogy Club has moved to online meetings via Zoom! Join us to learn about internet and archival genealogy and research support. Registration is required to receive the Zoom meeting link.
Our next meeting is Wednesday, March 17, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.

Expand your genealogy search from home with Ancestry Library, a research tool for genealogy and local history. Through it you can examine census data, the American Genealogical Biographical Index, and more. While typically only for in-library use, this service is available for home use for Bloomingdale Public Library Cardholders through March 31, 2021.

Learn how to easily make professional-looking magnets, key chains, or jewelry. For this craft you will need Mod Podge, brushes, glass cabochons with magnets or jewelry settings, and printed pictures of galaxies and stars.

The first 20 people to email Kristina Giovanni at kgiovanni@mybpl.org will receive a bag of supplies to make one craft, available February 23.
Virtual Art Class: Drop Caps

6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Join us on Zoom to learn about nature illustration and create your own Spring inspired drawings with artist Lindsay Budzynski. Supplies needed: paper, pencils/erasers, ruler. Tracing paper, markers, or colored pencils optional. Computer, tablet, or phone is required to attend via Zoom.

Join other parents, high school and middle school students, and professionals to learn about issues facing today’s youth. The Glenbard Parent Series engages top experts, parents and school staff to become proactive and informed in pursuit of the mutual goal to strengthen our communities. Programs are free and open to the public.
