Please Welcome Class I Board of Directors!

The SVTC's Board of Directors is divided into two groups, called classes, for governance purposes. Each year, the term of one of the classes expires. To prepare, the council (the members) holds elections in the spring of each year so that a new class of directors is elected and can be appointed by the board of directors before the end of the term on June 30th.

The following members were appointed by the board on June 22 based on this spring's class I election:

SVTC Tech on the Square

Tech on the Square is a completely informal, ad-hoc, technology agnostic meetup. Whether you're a seasoned technologist working with or in startups, or completely new to everything, we'd love to meet you.

Come and catch up with fellow technology users and creators at this casual networking event. We'll support our neighbors,  Capital Ale House.
Membership in SVTC is not required. All users and creators of technology are welcome.

GO Virginia Survey
SVTC Members,
We need your input!  Because the GO Virginia initiative aims to support private sector growth and job creation, we understand it is vital to hear directly from our regional businesses to understand needs, opportunities, and challenges.
The GO Virginia Region 8 Business Survey was created to collect information and feedback from the widest range of businesses possible. Topics in the survey include company size and location information, growth plans, challenges faced, employee recruitment, and education and training opportunities.   
The survey contains 25 questions and should take approximately 20 minutes. Any feedback you can provide will be valuable in creating strategies to spur the economic growth of our region.  The survey closes on July 10, 2017.  Thank you for your valuable guidance!
