Budget Referee

David is Founder and CEO of Budget Referee, a startup that seeks to solve the problem of stress and confusion with household budgeting. He finds that a lot of very smart people just don't like or understand finances. When they do try, they're not quite sure if they are doing it right. David wanted to create a solution for this problem.

David has extensive operations experience with Booz Allen and Pitney Bowes. As a non-technical founder and solopreneur, the journey definitely has its challenges! Early on, he always had the faith (or ignorance) that he would eventually succeed and that he would meet people who could help guide him through the process. He has already met a number of those people at SVTC.
