Once a year, SVTC members vote on who will join its board of directors for a 2

year term in one of its two classes. On June 30, 2017, the term for our
class 1
of directors expires. This May we are conducting the annual election for class 1, whose term will start on July 1, 2017. In March and April, SVTC members contributed suggestions to a slate of candidates which was then approved by the board of directors. The election takes place online as well as in
-
person, and finishes up at the Annual Meeting on May 25, 2017 at the Wood Grill. SVTC members were emailed their unique ballot links last week. (If you are a member and did not receive your email, please let us know.)

details for a new JMU summer accelerator program for students and the ventures they are pursuing this summer, and how the Valley's 'tech users and creators' community can connect with the Center.
Patrick joined JMU's College of Business as executive director for the CfE in January -- he is a pioneer of the mobile services and online media industry and started his first company, Proteus, in 1996, working out of his dorm room at The George Washington University.
