Good Morning!

The Most Precious of All

There are many things to do when one arrives in Eretz Yisroel. Indeed, often one feels that you are constantly in motion.
The frenzied frantic fast and furious pace which accompanies the privilege of spending a few amazing days in Yerushalayim often leaves me wondering if I am coming or going.
The mad dash to the Kosel and the obligatory visits to long lost relatives coupled with the desire to meet as many Gedolim one can see leaves no time for leisure.
This trip I made sure would be different.
This trip I promised myself I would devote time to the greatest of all pleasures, learning Torah with my grandchildren.
Therefore when the evening arrived and the sun had set, I had a different grandchild come over to learn Torah with me.
The sheer joy of being able to sit and learn Torah with my grandchildren in Israel was worth all the money in the world.
How true is the fact that too often we get so caught up in the big events and large get-togethers, which of course are beautiful- However, we sometimes forget that the seemingly small and free pleasures in life are the most precious.
