Greetings From The Farm!
Winter is here, but that hasn't slowed us down. We're in full swing at Sprieser Sporthorse, both in our Virginia and Florida locations. Read on to learn more about what we're up to!
What's Up
Calling recent times "normal" is a charitable stretch, but we're slowly creeping back to life as it was before Corona. Our Southern show team has begun, with super results both in the national and CDI rings.

A huge hat tip to my student and friend Abraham Pugh who, aboard Alice Drayer's Trakehner stallion Elfenperfekt, continues to impress in the international ring. He placed well in top class company at the GDF1 CDI a few weeks ago, on nearly 67% in the Grand Prix, and above a 70% in his second World Cup Qualifier, putting him fourth in the current North American League Final standings, and poising him well for our goal of qualifying for the Festival of Champions. Congratulations, Abe, Alice, and Pistol!

We also had a successful outing to White Fences I this week. We're so excited for working student Calah's top placings on Rhonda's Escritor HGF! "Rumi" was a model citizen, and helped Calah earn her Second Level scores towards her Bronze Medal, and get their first qualification for the Regional Championships. Congratulations, Rhonda and Calah!

We've got lots of shows left on the docket this winter season, and we've assembled our schedule for the rest of 2021 as well. Shoot me an email to receive our competition calendar. We'd love to have you join us! And with stalls available for winter training and longer back in Virginia, we're ready to help you reach your competition goals in the year to come and beyond. Read on to learn more about how!
What's New
We love CAMP! Our wildly-popular Adult Winter Camps have begun, and are already completely overbooked. We do have limited audit spots available for Camp 3, focusing on Working Equitation, as well as a Fix-A-Test in April with spots still available. You can sign up online at Strider. And I will be returning home from Florida monthly as well for trailer-in lessons. You can sign up for those on Time Center today; the remaining Winter Teaching Weekends with me are February 20-21 and March 13-14.

As usual, we are open for trailer-in folks, in the afternoons and evenings as usual. We're also delighted with the response to our always-wildly-popular Cavaletti Days! These fun lessons are suitable for all levels of education and experience, and are a fantastic complement to any dressage or event rider's typical training program. Assistant Trainer Karrigan will help challenge you and your horse while improving athletic performance, dexterity and strength. These are fun PRIVATE lessons for only $45. Why pay more for less? Email Karrigan to learn more.

If you're looking for a world-class training opportunity, consider joining us for either a short- or long-term stay. Our clients advance up the levels in a fun and positive way, and are part of our warm family atmosphere. As always, we offer full training board, but we're adding a part training option this winter. With Assistant Trainer Karrigan Norris (USDF Silver & Bronze Medalist) staying home to run the ship, you and your horse can advance through the winter at a range of price points. Training includes lessons and/or rides, full care without additional charges for blanketing and bandaging, and use of all our fantastic amenities.

For the first time, we'll be opening up our indoor arena for open schooling! Come ride in our oversized, lit, mirrored space with dust-free footing. And it couldn't be easier to sign up: register, pay and sign a waiver at Strider, and then sign up for a time on Time Center. Done!

Interested in teaching out of our arena? Let's talk! Email me to learn more.

Last but not least, a few options for continuing your progress through the winter without ever leaving your own facility. I offer virtual lessons worldwide; all you need is a solid internet connection, a cell phone, a camera holder and a pair of wireless headphones. No fancy Pixem or Pivo required! (Though I teach on them, too, of course.) I have virtual students across North America! Email me to learn more.

And you can expand your education for just pennies a month by joining the Sprieser Sporthorse Elite Club. The SSHEC is a members-only experience for dressage enthusiasts, offering an all-access pass to the development of horses from foal to FEI! Head over to Strider to join.

We are all confident that we can help you and your horses advance safely and responsibly, and look forward to seeing you!
