Marketing Locally
NEXT WEEK: This one should be fun! You might not know how much Google My Business means to your brand! If that is not accurate, doesn't show current photos etc...it's a negative reflection on you. Next Door - we all use that now too right? Should be fun to hear more about how ads can work their - or at least have your business listed there - so when someone asks for your type of service, you pop up!

Tuesday, May 18th:
Power Tool - Your Data
Instead of just hoping you are reaching your demographic audience learn how to hone your marketing based on data from your own business and from the internet to find the customer most likely to use your business. Bring your access information for Google Analytics, reports from your email list, and data from your Google Ads if you have them. If not - we will show you how and where to start collecting this data. Why? Because, then you will know who/how to target your highest potential customers.
STATE OF THE CITY
NEXT Thursday, May 6th 11:30-1:00
Bison Creek
1207 Hwy 25 N.

We are over 50 people in attendance at this one, so make sure you are there. Hear about what's happening in our city, our local and county law enforcement and our schools. It's been quite the year so lots to talk about! Well worth your time to hear, support and ask questions of our community leaders.

Please register by Friday so we can give a good headcount to Bison Creek! Looking forward to seeing you all there!
THE SHOW MUST GO ON!

You have all received the sponsorship/parade unit application (below) in the mail. We appreciate your response. We are looking forward to hosting the Buffalo Days events, even if they look a little different this year. Our community needs some happy moments after this last year.

NEW MEMBER WELCOME
What a fun gathering at Gather Kitchen for our new member welcome yesterday! As Kristi Varner, owner of Gather, is a new member it was appropriate we meet there. Thank you Kristi for opening on Monday just to host us! The breakfast biscuit sandwich, yogurt parfait, muffins and turnovers were delicious!

The Chamber hosts these quarterly and gives our new members an opportunity to hear at greater length about what the Chamber has to offer them, meet with other new members in the same shoes and do some networking, and enjoy some question and answer time.

Below from left to right is Palmer and Brian Alexander from Forget Me Not Cafe, Adam Bjorklund from Ameriprise Financial, John Weiers from Right-Way Cleaning, Kristi from Gather Kitchen, Darcy Board and Laura Cook from Darcy Board Home Team-Re/Max Results, Lori Hegle from Hegle Door Sales and Dr. Megan Rodgers from Adjust to Health Chiropractic. Welcome to our Chamber family!
Ambassadors on the Move
JEREMIAH SCHMID CONCEPTS
320-282-5089

The Ambassador group met, via Zoom, with one man freelancer Jeremiah Schmid. Jeremiah specializes in video marketing, but can help a business with many areas of marketing with his 11 years of marketing and design experience.

People prefer to watch and learn vs read and videos can now be used on so many marketing channels that it's the newest of marketing trends. From website to Facebook and Instagram to Tik Tok - videos are the trend. Testimonials are the most favored on video as well. He can even do 360 videos where one can truly see ALL you have to offer in your store, or as a shop tour, or to demo products for a tradeshow.

Jeremiah can assist you with copy writing, websites, blogs, literature content (wordsmithing and SEO key words) and more! He can also do the video voiceovers. Not all of us have that skillset!

If you need to give your brand a boost - give Jeremiah a call!

Below see Ambassador Val Megaw of CentraSota, myself, Jeremiah, Ambassadors Cheree' Hoese from Commercial Realty Solutions, Chanda Knoof of Havenwood and Rob Stark of Edward Jones.
