Prime Timers' Trip to the Georgia Tech Papermaking Museum Tour & Lunch at the Varsity

Meet to ride bus: 9:15 a.m. | Return around 2 p.m.

Cost: $7 + your own lunch

Join us as we tour the Robert C. Williams Museum of Papermaking at Georgia Tech followed by lunch at the Varsity. We'll learn about how paper has been made through the centuries and explore everything from papyrus to molds and deckles. Then we'll answer the question "What'll ya have?" at the nearby Varsity. Watermelon, Bubbles & More!

Set Up: 6:30 a.m. | First Runners: 7:15 a.m.

We're putting a fruity spin on our annual Peachtree Road Race cheer section by passing out refreshing watermelon to runners as they pass! We'll have extra bleachers, free cheer gear from the Atlanta Track Club and the always popular bubble machine. We know it's an early morning volunteer request, but it's a great opportunity to be an encouraging presence for race participants from all over the world. How awesome is that? Let the Community Council or Jonathan Hall know if you'd like to help.

July Church in Conference

Sun, July 27 | After Worship | Fellowship Hall & Zoom | Boxed Lunch: $10

Grab a boxed lunch and fellowship with your church family while staff and lay leaders offer reports on the state of the church including ministries and finances and an update from the Pastor Search Committee. Boxed Lunch: Chicken salad on croissant or turkey club, chips and cookie/brownie. RSVP by Wed, July 23.
