A message from The Head of School

"Good things happen every day. We only have to notice."
- Anne Wilson Schaef
There has been so much happening at The Silver Academy and in our local community, it is hard not to notice all the good things happening each day! I hope you enjoy reading this Silver Summary and looking at all the great pictures so you can see some of the wonderful things going on. I am so proud to be a part of such a wonderful school and community.
Shabbat Shalom,
Samara

The 4th-8th grade students are working on a create your own business project. The students each came up with their own ideas for a business they would like to run if they had their own. The first day they came up with the name of their business and also the goods or services that they would be providing to their customers. On the second day they created a logo for their business. For their next step we will be making a PowerPoint about their business and presenting it to the class. Here is a sneak peak of a couple of the logos that the students have created.

Silver Academy students have been making Hanukkah cards to send to Jewish service members in our U. S. Armed Forces through the Jewish Soldiers Project.

|
We are looking for a few volunteers to help with lunch duty. Only requires one hour a day. Could be once a week or a couple times a week. Doesn't have to be a whole year commitment. Email Myrna Rubin at mrubin@silveracademypa.org for more information.
