If you walk by the resource room on Tuesday mornings between 7:30 and 8:10, you may hear a lot of "noise." This excitement is from students in grades 3-8 challenging each other in the game of Math 24. These dedicated students come to school early every week to sharpen their math skills and have improved dramatically throughout the year.
On Tuesday, May 5th, our middle school team, including Brian Dym, Elez Bell, Joshua Jackson, and Moshe Schertz, competed against 120 other central PA students. While our team did not make the "final four" they did put forth an all-out effort and had a great time!
Our 4th and 5th graders will be participating in our "in house" Math 24 competition on Monday, June 4th. We are all looking forward to this event.
Congratulations to all of our super mathematicians, and a great big "THANK YOU" to their parents for getting the children to school so early on Tuesday mornings and for their support throughout the year.
