Before you make an online purchase, do your research on the seller you'd like to buy from, especially if the deal seems too good to be true. If a certain product is retailed at $500.00 and you find it online for much cheaper, be wary! The website might have been set up to obtain your card information and you will never receive your order.

One of the methods to check the validity of any e-commerce website is to type its name in the search engine followed by words such as "review", "scam" or "fraud". You should be able to find fraud reports and reviews of any retail site you search for.
