Board & Committee Appointments

In late November, interviews were completed for the open positions on several of our Boards and Committees. We extend our sincere appreciation to every applicant who volunteered to serve our community. Your willingness to contribute is important to the success of our advisory boards.

At the December 10th Council meeting, Mayor Letz appointed the selected applicants to the following Boards:

Public Works Advisory Board (PWAB)

Three candidates interviewed for two available positions. After careful consideration, Lori Faha and Rachel Ruppell were selected. Both currently serve on the Board and bring valuable experience and continuity to PWAB’s work.

City Parks Advisory Board (CPAB)

With three applicants for two positions, the selected candidates are Jane Boyl, who will be joining the Board as a new member, and Doug Buell, a current Board member who will continue his service.

Budget Committee

Two candidates applied for one open position. Amy Paul was selected and will bring fresh insight to the Committee.

Thank you again to all applicants for their interest in civic involvement. We look forward to welcoming the new and returning members who will help guide our community’s future.
