FRIDAY, September 13

The women of SPARK (a new women’s group focusing on missions) invite you to join us TOMORROW, Friday, Sept. 13th from 5-8pm at 1161 Concord Rd., SE Suite 500 for a community wide event to help tackle diaper and hygiene poverty in Smyrna. Come learn about the Diaper and Hygiene Ministries at Tillman House and how you can help. Bring a pack of diapers or hygiene supplies for entry. Can’t make it? SUNDAY, September 15

This Sunday, we invite all 4th and 5th graders to join us for Club 4/5 from 4pm-5:30pm. We will meet in room C203 and walk over to Tillman for a service project. This is a great time to bond and serve at the same time.

WEDNESDAY, September 18

On Wednesday, September 18th, we will be welcoming our Bishop to join us. We hope you will come eat with your church family and give Bishop Dease a great Smyrna First Welcome!

The menu is Fried Chicken, Mac and Cheese, Broccoli, Bread, Salad Bar, Dessert, and a Drink. Adults: $10; Children: $5 (under 10). 5:30pm-6:30pm, Fellowship Hall. No Reservations are required.

SATURDAY, September 21

Every autumn, our front yard transforms into a vibrant pumpkin patch! This tradition not only provides a picturesque backdrop for countless family photos, but it also serves a greater purpose. As we cultivate these cheerful gourds, we engage the community by selling them, with all proceeds dedicated to supporting youth ministries.

Our first truck load of pumpkins will arrive on Saturday morning, September 21st and we could use as many hands as possible to help unload them beginning at 9am. If you have a few minutes, or a few hours to help, we would greatly appreciate it!

If you are available to work a shift at the patch, please click on the button below. Working the patch is easy! We help customers pick out, pay for, and carry pumpkins to their car.

SUNDAY, September 29

September has a 5th Sunday in it, which means we have a project! On Sunday, Sept. 29th, at 10:10am in the Fellowship Hall, we will be assembling UMCOR Flood Buckets. As part of the project, we will provide the buckets, however we will need donations to fill the buckets. Click on the button below to get a full list of what we need.
