This Sunday at the 8:45am Classic Worship Service, we will have the joy and privilege of commissioning our Middle School Missions Team as they prepare to serve others in Christ's name.

These amazing students have committed their time and hearts to making a difference, and we, as their church family, will come together to pray over them, encourage them, and send them out with our full support and blessing.

We invite you to be part of this special moment as we lift them up and celebrate their calling to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the world. Let’s show them that they go not alone but surrounded by the love and prayers of their church community.

THIS EVENING, June 26th, 7pm in Room A102.

We will have a special guest speaker this week at our Caregivers Support Group meeting. This group is for those who have loved ones dealing with dementia.

Dee Williams of Trusted Hands Senior Care, LLC will be speaking on preventing Caregiver burn out and ways we can REST and RESET.

Trusted Hands Senior Care provides center-based community care and live-in services for seniors. In addition to their home care services, they provide community resources, such as: assistance with hospice referrals, assisted living facilities, community nursing and active rehabilitation.

TOMORROW - Friday, June 27, 7pm: The Braves take on the Phillies. The SFUMC Music Ministry will be performing the “National Anthem” and there will be Friday Night Fireworks to enjoy. The tickets for this premium game are $35 (general admission is $60 through Braves website for this game) in section 345. As a bonus, each ticket includes a free 20 oz Coca-Cola product! We’re thrilled to present a celebration of fashion through the decades, highlighting the rich history of United Methodist Women! Participants will choose a decade to represent and wear an outfit that reflects that era’s style.

As part of this fun event, we invite you to bring a piece of your outfit to donate to a local mission—such as a hat, coat, or jewelry item. We welcome models of all ages and interests from every generation!

If you’d like to participate, please reach out to Kate Marr at audiologygirl@gmail.com. Whether you’re walking the runway or just stopping by for a sweet treat, all are invited to join in the fun. There will be a Glamour Station and plenty of photo opportunities to capture the memories—plus delicious ice cream for everyone!

Tillman House, in partnership with SPARK Women’s Ministry, aims to provide 100 backpacks to students this school year.

Instead of collecting supplies, we are seeking sponsors to fund the backpacks. A $35 donation will sponsor one backpack, we are accepting contributions through July 14, when supplies will be ordered to fill the backpacks.
