THIS SUNDAY is the 5th Sunday, which means we have a project! At 10:10am in the Fellowship Hall, we will be assembling UMCOR Flood Buckets. As part of the project, we will provide the buckets, however we will need donations to fill the buckets. Click on the button below to get a full list of what we need.

First Step Toward Change is AWARENESS. Parents, Grandparents and ALL are invited to learn ways we can improve Safety in our Community.

Guest Speakers: From the City of Smyrna Police Department Major Louis Defense will speak on crime prevention in your home, neighborhood and community. Lt. Meredith Holt will speak on her work in getting legislation passed for tougher sentencing for sex traffickers. From SafePath: Gail Garland. SafePath Children’s Advocacy Center, Inc. is a window of hope to a brighter tomorrow. They are a private 501(c)3 non-profit organization in Marietta Ga. dedicated to improving the lives of children who have been abused.

WEDNESDAY, October 2

Wednesdays, from 4:30-5pm, Coach Kathryn and Coach Jordan will be offering casual time in the Green Space for kids to learn some beginner soccer skills. Parents will need to be present for this fun time (and may learn some skills themselves).

The menu for Oct. 2nd is Baked Ziti, Green Beans, Garlic Bread, Salad Bar, Dessert, and a Drink. Adults: $10; Children: $5 (under 10). 5:30pm-6:30pm, Fellowship Hall. No Reservations are required.

This event is free! Dinner is included, so please sign-up using the button, so we know how many to plan for.

Now through October 20th, God's Light Youth Choir will be selling these stunning and colorful plants. They will be delivered to the church the first week of December for you to pick up. Click on button to order or purchase from a God's Light member. Proceeds will go toward the Youth Choir's Summer tour transportation.
