REFLECTING ON 2017 AND LOOKING AHEAD TO 2018

Dance Love 2017.

This year was a perfect combination of traveling and d'dancing. Among the many countries we have danced and created in the past year and a half are Mexico, UK, Japan, across Canada - Toronto, Newfoundland, Moncton, Vancouver, ending the year with Israel. We've been touched by the hundreds of artists and community members, partners, staff, and team players who have joined our journey. Our family and funding bodies, private individuals, and volunteers have been there for us in our creative adventures.

Karen's Musings

I have been lucky to have projects and people that challenge me, run risk with me, dance with me and take me deeper as a human. My heart and psyche are in awe of the art we create together as dancer, choreographer, community and witness. There is nothing more that I can wish for in my journey as an artist. I have been moved in 2017 and am ready for 2018, with commissions, residencies and processes that give me free reign to envelope life ' s existential ecstasy of being alive. Staying tuned and thankful.
Allen's Musings

Allen's musings: I also feel totally blessed to have had such an immersive year in Dance: Creation, Commissions, Performing, Dance Film, Community projects as well as a plethora of  Workshop activities  with between 2-3,000 students/year. An incredible year with MYLOVE Karen traveling the four corners of the earth (yes it's flat), hanging and traveling with our two amazing daughters and building new avenues of art with our wonderful new staff.
