Mission del Sol is stronger than it's been in years. Not just financially, but the energy of the membership too! We've had a steady incline for the past few years even through COVID. Exciting times for sure!

Have you been a ruling Elder or Deacon in the past? Or curious of what a ruling Elder or Deacon actually does? Let's connect. Give me a call and I would be happy to have a discussion or set you up with someone that you could shadow to see what it's all about. Read More

LENTEN DEVOTIONAL BEGINS TODAY
Prayer is a conversation with God. Sometimes our prayers are serious and other times they are not. Sometimes in the busyness of life our conversations with God get set aside, which is why we are going to spend the season of Lent focused on prayer. We can deepen our spiritual connections with God and each other by reading the Psalms accompanied by devotions authored by Members and Staff, along with the Elders and the Deacons. May the passion, faithfulness, and connection to God reflected in these ancient Psalms be a helpful guide to you as the season of Lent unfolds. Download your digital devotion here or read them each day on Facebook.

WELCOME NEW MEMBERS!
This week featuring: Bob Blome
Bob Blome is in the latest class of new members of new members at MdS. He was born and lived the early part of his marriage in Iowa. Subsequently, he and his wife moved to AZ in 1982. A design engineer, he worked thirty-six years for companies that eventually became absorbed into Honeywell. It’s no surprise then, that he has helped with multiple Habitat for Humanity projects at King of Glory Lutheran Church in Tempe, where he also holds a membership.

Bob and his wife began attending MdS when Pastor David was here, then stayed after Pastor Kelsy was installed. He very much likes the “Wired Word” led by Marshall.  Bob also loves Pastor Kelsy’s messages, and enjoys how friendly and generous the congregation is. Unfortunately, Bob’s wife has passed away, which makes his church “family” very important.

Bob says he’s easy to spot by his goatee. Let’s let him know that we’re glad he’s found a home within the MdS family!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, WITH LOVE
From Your MdS Family
