Thank-a-Teacher Thursdays are back and going on tour, in order to continue celebrating the District's dedicated teachers. Students, families, and staff are encouraged to share their stories to recognize someone special, and every other week, three teachers from one school will be celebrated.

Athletes are returning to our fields and courts, starting with three football games scheduled for this Friday evening. Webinar addressing equity features District leadership
With a heightened consciousness of social injustice, learning gaps and a need for equity in education, panelists fincluding Superintendent Donald E. Fennoy, II and District 7 School Board member Dr. Debra Robinson will discuss effective strategies to improve support for students in an environment that embraces equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Top art educator is right here in Palm Beach County
Dr. Nicole Crane is an art teacher at Elbridge Gale ES, with more than 20 years of experience in education. Recently, she received the 2020 Florida Outstanding Art Educator of the Year Award from the Florida Art Education Association (FAEA).

As a teacher, briefly FAEA president or member of their Board of Directors, Dr. Crane always knew that art education would be her chosen career.
Cybersecurity on most lists for top jobs in next 10 years
Students in the Santaluces Community High School Cybersecurity Academy now have the opportunity to graduate college-and-career ready with at least six professional certifications thanks to a $750,000 grant from The Frederick A. DeLuca Foundation.
