Reimagining Equity: The Case for a Whole-Child Approach for Effective Teaching and Learning,
Dr. Fay E. Brown

This presentation will reinforce the importance of a whole-child developmental approach for effective teaching and learning. Dr. Brown will make the case that in order to support individualized learning and ensure success for every student, educators and other school personnel must take a holistic approach in their efforts to educate our children. If equity is considered from the perspective of providing for every child based on his or her needs, then this holistic approach can be viewed as the reimagining of equity.
