with the GoSciTech Residential Scholar Certificate of Award.
These students are among 12 rising 8th graders from Allendale, Bamberg, Hampton, and Jasper counties chosen by their schools to participate in this transformative program. “The 2024 GoSciTech Scholar Award was created to provide students with increased access to outstanding STEM learning experiences,” said Randy LaCross, GSSM Sr. VP for Outreach and Global Initiatives. “Our GoSciTech Residential summer program is an outstanding learning experience. The scholars will be immersed in the GSSM learning community and motivated to deepen their knowledge and understanding of mathematics, science, and engineering by participating in a week-long course that is challenging but delivered in a fun and interactive way.”
This is an awesome opportunity for these Jasper County Scholars. Each scholarship covers the cost of tuition, room and board, and all materials needed for this week-long residential camp experience. Participating in this program has the potential to transform the lives of our scholars and its other participants.
