Delia is a young mom who faced overwhelming hardships from a very young age. Separated from her mother at birth due to addiction, Delia lived with different family members throughout her childhood. When an older aunt passed away, Delia entered foster care and eventually became trapped in an abusive relationship with a baby on the way. With support from donors like you, Delia ended the relationship, sought assistance to help get her back on her feet, and is currently bonding with her baby as she works towards a better and brighter future for both of them.
Your monthly gift will continue to help Delia as she works towards self-sufficiency and the well-being of her baby. Thank you for being the one to change a life.

Here’s to another amazing community member. Thank you Tammy Palumbo, Team Leader, Pampered Chef for hosting a "Sponsor a Mom" project for Mother's Day. You did an amazing job rallying donations from caring community members and thanks to your dedication, 11 beautiful baskets are being gifted to single moms living in our safe homes.
These wonderful baskets include these fabulous Pampered Chef items:
a 2 qt Micro-cooker, a Kitchen Paring Knife and a Mini Measure-All Cup. Plus, thanks to your community connections, the baskets also include individually packaged body butter and exfoliating scrubs from the LifeSpa at Life Time Athletic.

There’s a lot to be thankful for when so many community members rally together to help those in need. Thank you to Cherry Hill Mall, Cumberland Mall and Moorestown Mall for hosting a diaper collection, making it easy for community members to drop off a box of diapers to support the cause. You make it possible for babies to be clean and cared for, and for moms to feel a sense of relief with heavy, and expensive, burden taken off their shoulders.

From longtime educator to community trailblazer, Ms. Octavia Greer and the Legacy Moves organization are inspiring community members to act and make change possible for future generations. As an early childhood educator, Octavia witnessed how students had differing needs and levels of support back home. While some students had financial and home life cushioning, others were not as fortunate; “I had to let them know that somebody cares.” Octavia and her husband started giving back in whichever ways they could, from small college scholarships to creating a summer program for aspiring teen chefs.
What started as small acts of giving, has grown into Legacy Moves, a nonprofit organization with the mission to plant the seeds of support and success for future generations and families and with the hope to revolutionize what it means to give back. And her support is tremendous, with hundreds of diapers & wipes donated to our Mother Child program with the help of her committed network.
“I don’t want to see our future leaders have to struggle. I want to make sure they have the necessary tools and head start that they need to succeed” explained Octavia. “[When they give back, I hope donors] feel a sense of pride and are reminded that their contributions are an investment; an investment to help that child, mother, father as they build a fresh start.”

Cheers for the DiCostanzo family for the success of their Teens to Teens collection. John DiCostanzo, a high school junior, and his sister, Sophia, a freshman, rallied family and friends to donate toiletries for teens and boxes of items were collected.
Because of you, items are already en route to our shelter and group homes, giving teens basic toiletry essentials and the chance to select favorite soaps, shampoo and conditioner products. Many thanks!

Here’s to an outstanding restaurant, Choolaah, a fine casual Indian concept in King of Prussia. As part of their re-launch they are hosting 30 days of fundraising to support many needs across the community. Of the many special fundraising days, the one on May 1st provided direct support to the children in our care.
It was a fabulous day of delicious Indian food – fan favorites are the Choolah Bowl, the Tikki Masala and the Yellow Lentil Daal. A great day of food combined with the chance support an important cause – improving the lives of the children and families in need. Thank you to all involved and a special thanks to Choolaah CEO, Raji Sankar, for the $1000 donation, matched by an anonymous donor, bringing the total raised to $2000.

When you donate gift cards, you give someone the chance to make a choice. This is empowering, especially for a family who is struggling or for a teen living in shelter care. Your gift card donations help to make a child feel secure under the covers of a cozy comforter, in a favorite color they got to choose. Who said makeup can’t be empowering? Thanks to the generous gifts from the students and families of Doane Academy, the wonderful ladies of Camden DREAMS had the opportunity to enhance their natural beauty and channel their creative sides. With various shining eye shadows and whimsical eyelashes to play around with, the Camden DREAMS’ ladies were able to create eye catching makeup looks that helped boost their self-confidence and encouraged their self-expression.

The Jaws Youth Playbook, foundation of former Eagles quarterback and NFL analyst, Ron Jaworski, gifted 22 duffel bags and 300+ socks for young people in the care of our safe homes.

To help enjoy the fun moments in life, Tonie Pellerin and the Five Below team provided a generous gift of games, activity props, journals, and more to children and teens in the care of our Juntos program.

Symbolizing awareness and prevention, teal ribbons are worn and displayed nationwide during the month of April in support of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. This year, our friends at Lawson’s Fabric & Crafts donated 100 personalized teal ribbons to our Services Empowering Rights of Victims (SERV) program for community members to wear in support and solidarity of victims and survivors of sexual assault.

Because of you, over $800 was raised in support of survivors which will help connect them to life saving services like a 24/7 hotline, one on one counseling, and so much more. These services are imperative to a survivor as they begin on their path toward healing.
