Greetings!
Holden Village is embodied in many things. The mountains, the memories, the bountiful freshly baked bread. Most of all, it is defined by the spirit of community.
And that spirit and practice of community is not bounded by narrow valleys or confined buildings. It is seeded from the hearts of the people who have visited and served, growing in the people yet to visit, and blossoming with beauty in the world.
Next week we will host the second annual Jubilee Auction, a chance for the Holden community far and near to connect and exchange in ways both heartfelt and hilarious. See below for a teaser on this amazing initiative.
Whether in the Village or beyond, everyone is invited into the practice of community by engaging and deepening our own relationships to God, to the earth, and to each other. Start now by sharing this message of participation with your family, friends, neighbors, and faith community!
Faithfully,
Stacy Kitahata, Mark Bach, and Kathie Bach
