Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation to Join National Wildlife Refuge Expo on Capitol Hill
On Wednesday, October 11, the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation (CSF) will host a booth at the National Wildlife Refuge Expo in the Rayburn House Office Building Courtyard from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m ET. The Expo will highlight the Big 6 recreational uses of the National Wildlife Refuge: hunting, fishing, wildlife observation, photography, education, and interpretation. This event is open to the public.

Angler Backed Billfish Conservation Act Passes U.S. Senate
Conservationists and anglers are applauding the U.S. Senate for passing S. 396, a bill to amend the Billfish Conservation Act of 2012. The bipartisan legislation sponsored by Senators Bill Nelson (D-Fla.); Marco Rubio (R-Fla.); Jerry Moran (R-Kan.), and Joe Manchin, III (D-W.Va.), passed by a voice vote on October 2. Read More > >

Kansas: Caucus Hosts Reception to Discuss In-State Sportsmen's Issues
On October 4, the Kansas Legislative Sportsmen's Caucus hosted a reception in advance of their annual fall pheasant hunt, which was held at Ravenwood Lodge outside Topeka, Kansas. The reception's goal was to assist the Caucus in continuing their mission of advancing hunting, angling, recreational shooting and trapping in Kansas.  Read More > >

Kentucky: National Assembly of Sportsmen's Caucuses and Ducks Unlimited Partnership Takes Center Stage at Conservation Dinner
On October 4, Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation (CSF) staff members attended the Ducks Unlimited (DU) Partnerships in Conservation Reception and Dinner in Lexington, Kentucky in continuance of the strong alliance between CSF and DU.

NASC Sportsman-Legislator Summit - Registration Now Open
Registration is now open for the 14th Annual National Assembly of Sportsmen's Caucuses (NASC) Sportsman-Legislator Summit. The NASC Sportsman-Legislator Summit is the most important event of the year for caucus members and partners. Now in its 14th year, this annual meeting serves as the ideal venue for focused discussion and interaction between and among state policy makers, sportsmen's NGO representatives, and outdoor industry partners from around the nation.
