Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation to Join National Wildlife Refuge Expo on Capitol Hill
On Wednesday, October 11, the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation (CSF) will host a booth at the National Wildlife Refuge Expo in the Rayburn House Office Building Courtyard from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m ET. The Expo will highlight the Big 6 recreational uses of the National Wildlife Refuge: hunting, fishing, wildlife observation, photography, education, and interpretation. This event is open to the public.
Angler Backed Billfish Conservation Act Passes U.S. Senate
Conservationists and anglers are applauding the U.S. Senate for passing S. 396, a bill to amend the Billfish Conservation Act of 2012. The bipartisan legislation sponsored by Senators Bill Nelson (D-Fla.); Marco Rubio (R-Fla.); Jerry Moran (R-Kan.), and Joe Manchin, III (D-W.Va.), passed by a voice vote on October 2.
