GRANT IN ACTION
SHENATIVE LAUNCHES NEW "GRATITUDE COLLECTION"

SheNative creates inspiring leather handbags and apparel that share Indigenous teachings embedded with positive values passed down by ancestors. 

The company recently launched a collaborative project with Helen Oro Designs to create a unique leather bag collection now available online and at other retailers across Canada.

A Craft and Visual Arts Production Grant helped SheNative complete that project.

FEATURE FILM PRODUCTION GRANT OPENING SOON
GRANT OPENS

The Feature Film Production Grant invests in feature film projects with commercial intent that shoot in Saskatchewan and/or employ Saskatchewan-based crew during production and post-production.

Applications are accepted on a first-come first-served basis, with priority given to productions shooting primarily in Saskatchewan.

FIRST MICRO MARKETING INVESTMENTS DELIVERED

We're pleased to announce a first round of investments via the Micro Marketing Stream.

These investments help creative entrepreneurs complete small, targeted marketing projects, with funding capped at $5,000 (or 50% of the budget).

MADE-IN-SASK MOVIE SECURES U.S. DISTRIBUTION DEAL

Screen Media has acquired the U.S. rights to Cagefighter: Worlds Collide, written and directed by Jesse Quinones.

The film shot in Saskatchewan in late 2019, spending $1.2M on wages and goods & services in the province.
