Recently, severe drops in temperatures across the country are also causing power outages. Knowing what to do and how to keep warm reduces stress and helps you take better care of yourself and your family.

Lastly, if you know that a winter storm is imminent, take advantage of advanced warnings. Get your supplies in order and purchase what you may be missing. Remember, you may be fighting the crowds for scarce resources, so it is much better to maintain your preparations and stock up regularly.
