Registration Costs to MEMBERS/non-member participants:

Opening day through 3/25..............$60/80

3/26 through 4/15.......................$80/100

4/16 through 4/29.................$100/130


Guests of MEMBERS will pay for cost of food and tours (this must be a non conference participant, for example a partner or spouse)


Non-member participants are friends or coworkers that participate in training, tours, course work, certificate training, and meals. They cannot be registered as "guest".


Cancellation and Refund Policy:

  • 100% refund if cancelled 30 days prior to the conference
  • 50% refund if cancelled less than 30 days prior to the conference. This is to cover any perishable items and rentals that cannot be cancelled.

DAKTIC will cover the first year of membership dues for the first 50 NEW MEMBERS to register. Just complete the registration at the link below and contact Jake Clayson at jclayson@daktic.com to confirm you or our school will cover travel expenses, and he’ll take care of the rest.

Training will be offered by ASE on Friday April 28th at EVC! If you would like to attend this training and CAT training, now you can! You will need to meet the ASE requirements use this LINK to view ASE ETL information.

Interested in becoming a Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) Certified Instructor for California’s Smog Check Program? The BAR Certified Instructor Program is designed to ensure high standards among our educators and will consist of the successful completion of the following multi-part procedure:

              

  • Application to Become a Bureau Certified Instructor (TS-2 (01/21) with proof of required Smog Check licenses, ASE certifications and proof of education and/or experience documentation.
  • Complete and pass a written assessment composed of the following sections:
  • Emission Theory, Diagnosis and Repair
  • BAR Laws and Regulations
  • Fundamentals of Teaching
  • Submission of a Lesson Plan
  • Teaching Demonstration

Plans for a Friday car show and dinner are being established; stay tuned. A head count would help Mark and Wendy with planning, so please let us know if you plan on being in San Jose on Friday for some pre conference networking and fun! Non-conference attendees are also welcome.
