Homeowner Application For Chipping Program

Time Is Running Out!!!

We must submit our application for brush collection by December 4. If you are interested, now is the time to fill out the one-page form and get it to me. Again, do not start brush piles until our application has been received and approved.

The Individual Homeowner Application for Community Chipping Program form we need you to fill out is located on our website’s Downloads page. Once completed and signed, please send the form to me either via email or put the form in the compartment under my mailbox (1216 Rocky Cove Lane). We will use those forms to file our community application for the state.

We need the completed single-page forms returned to me as soon as you can, but please HOLD OFF ON ACTUALLY CREATING BRUSH PILES. We can start creating brush piles as soon as the state has received and accepted our application. My e-mail is [email protected]. Off the Cuff has been active in the last week, both with posts and comments. There is a question about a water flow issue, a link to an interactive map that calculates your chances of coming in contact with a person who has been exposed to Covid-19 in Davidson County, a suggestion for our holiday party funds, and the question, "What's going on across the street?"

Holiday 2020 Plans

The Social Committee met on Wednesday, November 11. Due to the new Covid-19 guidelines, the committee has decided to cancel the indoor dinner. However, we still want to extend holiday greetings to all Springs' members and, keeping with the spirit of the holidays, will be preparing gift bags (one per household) of cooked turkey breast, cheeses, crackers, and other gourmet foods.

This event will be on Saturday, December 5, 2 PM to 6 PM at the clubhouse with a drive-by gift pickup. Members will be greeted by the Social Committee members using Covid-19 guidelines (masks, gloves, social distancing). A festive atmosphere of music, decorations, and greetings will be provided while handing each car a gift bag.

Please RSVP to Prudy Mitchell at [email protected] or text at (719) 221-9737 by Monday, November 30, if you are planning on picking up a bag. The committee will need a count to order the gift bag items. If you are homebound, please let Prudy know, and a gift bag will be delivered to your home.

The committee will also be giving Bill Conrad, facilities manager, a card with monetary funds. If you would like to contribute, please bring the gift when you approach the front of the clubhouse.
