Update on Square Eateries
Indoor dining with limitations is now permitted in restaurants as detailed in Phase 2, Step 2 of Governor Baker’s 's phased business reopening plan. Several Square eateries are offering both indoor and outdoor table service.

Click here for a list of which businesses are open and their hours. It’s best to call ahead to the restaurant you want to visit to inquire whether they require reservations.

New Square Eatery Opens - A new restaurant, La Taqueria , has opened at 320 Washington Street near the rotary and next to UBreak IFix . They serve a variety of Mexican fare, bowls, salads, smoothies, wings, and more. Word on the street is that their avocado fries are delish”.
Coming Soon - A new restaurant will be opening soon in the former Deli After Dark space! Dedham residents Bruce Loewen and Krissy Scaccia are working steadily behind-the-scenes on changes to the space which will open under the new name “ Risers ”. The casual fare restaurant will feature some awesome signature sandwiches and dishes that the new owners are looking forward to introducing to all of you. Stay tuned for an announcement on their opening date!

Berry Good - Horse Thieves Tavern has added some new yummy seasonal items to their menu including strawberry shortcake and a strawberry mint mojito, both made with fresh strawberries from local farms. The salmon dish has undergone some savory seasonal changes, too.
Half Price Heaven - Did you hear that on Wednesdays all soft serve orders after 3 pm are half price at Ron’s Gourmet Ice Cream ? Just in case you need an excuse to go treat yourself!

Lace ‘Em Up - Big Bear Café & Espresso Bar ’s Friday morning walking club is up and running again. Visit their Facebook page to get the details on where it meets and what time. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy some amazing coffee and meet some new people in the community.

Deep Discount - The Dedham Exchange is having a 40% off sale on select merchandise through July 11. Is this Christmas in July?!
Restocked and Ready - Boston General Store has some new and restocked apothecary products including UpCircle, a new skincare line that up-cycles otherwise wasted materials like coffee grounds and discarded fruit stones. They’ve also added Welly first aid kits, packaged in refillable tins, Andrée Jardin nail and body brushes, and have restocked Everyday Oil as well as Vitruvi essential oils. You can purchase all of these brands on their website or stop into the shop. BGS has a very eclectic variety of products that are hard to find. Stop in soon to see what’s else is new!
They’re Back - Terra Spa has reopened and has some terrific “Welcome Back” specials including a free microdermabrasion with signature facial, a full set of lash extensions for $180 ($250 regular price), 1 hour Swedish massage for $55 ($85 regular price). Essential Advanced Skin Care has also reopened their doors!

Stream to Your Own Screen - Though the marquee on our beloved independent arthouse theatre is temporarily dark, you can still help to support this historic treasure that opened in 1927. Stream newly released arthouse films to enjoy from the comfort of home! For $12 per film, watch the critically-acclaimed The Painter and the Thief , RBG , Life Itself , Military Wives , and Fourteen . Also available is the popular documentary Spaceship Earth for $3.99. A Virtual Good Time - The 2nd Virtual Dedham Crawl will be held on Sat. July 11 from 7-10 pm to raise funds for the new Dedham COVID-19 Relief Fund . Join in for an evening of music from local musicians and special guests! There's no cost to attend via Zoom but donations to the fund and raffle ticket purchases are encouraged and appreciated!
