Positive Vibes  - Thanks to all the awesome kids who worked so hard to create dozens of colorful hearts for us to hang in the Square's store-front windows! Their sweet and poignant messages of hope have spread cheer and positive vibes which is just what we all need right now. We still have lots of room to hang more hearts so kids, get coloring! Say thank you to the essential and frontline workers, show love for your schools and teachers, give a shout out to your favorite Dedham Square businesses, express happy thoughts or share any-thing that might bring smiles to people's faces. Deliver your hearts to the drop-off bin in front of the theatre or mail them to Dedham Square Circle, P.O. Box 593, Dedham, MA 02027.
Distance Socially, Eat Locally

As the independently owned restaurants in the Square and around town continue to weather what seems like a never-ending storm during the COVID-19 pandemic, your continued support is appreciated more than you realize. Your takeout orders, words of encouragement, positive reviews and social media shares about how much you enjoyed your meals are what keeps them going. Thanks for helping to keep their doors open during these challenging times!

Countdown to Opening Day

At long last, in just three and a half weeks, we'll be kicking off the 13th season of the Dedham Farmers Market on Wed.  June 17! Again this season we'll return to the beautiful green at First Church, across from the Dedham Community House, where we'll be every Wednesday from 2-6 pm through the end of October.  We're still finalizing our vendor lineup but in the meantime we're happy to report that longtime favorites will be returning. Click here for a sneak peek. We'll be sharing more details on some exciting new vendors in the next issue of The Scoop!

To ensure the safety of our customers, vendors, staff, and volunteers, we've been working with t
he Dedham Health Dept. to make adjustments to our market operations. Click here for more info. Although the market will run a little differently this year, we can guarantee you a wide assortment of fresh and locally grown and prepared foods and health/wellness items that you'll love. We're also working on setting up options for pre-ordering and pre-paying items online to have ready for you to pick up from market vendors.

We're committed to providing a safe environment for you to load up on fresh and local fare and items but we also want to maintain the warm, community vibe you've come to expect at our market. To that end, we are seeking local musicians who are interested in showcasing their talents by playing at the market for a small stipend.  Email us at [email protected] for more info.
