President's Message
Greetings,

Welcome to the month of love. Valentine's has always been a symbol of love and romance. The world we are living seems to become tougher as we move through this pandemic. What we need is more love, more peace and a true spirit of being in this together. The vaccine has arrived and should help the world get on back on track in due time. Until then, we need to help each other as much as we can and care for one another.

In other news, we recently moved our office. Moving gives you great perspective. You can see all the clutter you have accumulated over time. It's a time to purge the clutter. It's a time that you find things that you thought were long lost and a time to realize what has now been misplaced in the moving process. It certainly provides a time to reflect on memories as you pack up each collected momento into boxes. In time, everything will get unpacked into its new place in our new office.

In closing, I hope that your journey into 2021 is going well as we enter the second month of the year. Please remember, we are one of a limited number of luxury ground transportation companies in America certified by SafeCleanRide. GLOBAL BUSINESS TRAVEL ASSOCIATION POLL
GBTA issues Report: The State of Business Travel

The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) is the world’s largest professional association representing the $1.4 trillion business travel industry. This includes hotels, airlines, travel agencies, ground transportation companies, rental car companies and virtually anyone else involved in corporate travel. GBTA has a membership of 9,000-plus business travel professionals from every continent. Collectively, GBTA members have control of the more than $345 billion annual spend (pre-pandemic) of global business travel and business meetings. We rely on GBTA to provide knowledge and resources necessary to navigate the rapidly changing business travel industry.

From December 11 through December 18,2020, GBTA conducted a poll of its members and non-members on a worldwide basis. This included corporate travel managers and travel suppliers as well as 16,126 travel professionals. 733 companies responded to the poll and on January 21st, GBTA published a report providing the State of Business Travel. We Take COVID-19 Safety Seriously

Passengers are required to wear a face mask or cloth face covering. Vehicle occupants should avoid or limit close contact (within 6 feet) with each other. For sedan or SUV transportation, the passenger being transported shall occupy the right rear passenger seat to place as much distance as possible between the chauffeur and the passenger. The use of larger vehicles such as vans is recommended when feasible to allow greater social (physical) distance between vehicle occupants. Additionally, chauffeurs practice regular hand washing and avoid touching their nose, mouth, or eyes.

The following are guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting vehicles
Clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces in the vehicle at the beginning and end of each shift and between transporting passengers. Ensure that cleaning and disinfection procedures are followed consistently and correctly, including the provision of adequate ventilation when disinfectant chemicals such as Lysol are in use. Doors and windows should remain open when cleaning the vehicle. When cleaning and disinfecting, individuals should wear disposable gloves compatible with the products being used as well as any other PPE required according to the product manufacturer’s instructions.
 
Rubbing Alcohol for Touch Points
Use a solution containing at least 70% alcohol on frequently touched electronic surfaces, such as tablets or touch screens used in the vehicle, remove visible dirt, then disinfect following the manufacturer’s instructions for all cleaning and disinfection products. If no manufacturer guidance is available, use alcohol-based wipes or sprays containing at least 70% alcohol to disinfect.
 
Disposal
Gloves, gowns and other disposable PPE used for cleaning and disinfecting the vehicle should be removed and disposed of after cleaning; wash hands immediately after the removal of gloves and other PPE with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available. If a disposable gown was not worn, work uniforms/clothes worn during cleaning and disinfecting should be laundered afterwards using the warmest appropriate water setting and dry items completely. Wash hands after handling laundry.

Manik Trivedi serves as a Customer Service Representative as well as managing our websites and handling our IT matters. Manik began his career with Ecko in 2017 and has been considered an asset since the day he joined us.

He and his wife are the parents of three daughters. He enjoys photography, music and reading. For additional relaxation, Manik engages in meditation. He has vast experience in Knowledge Process Outsourcing and IT services.
