Welcome to the Town of Stratford's second community newsletter: The Stratford Scene.
We hope it provides you with lots of ways to stay connected locally and learn about upcoming events and activities being organized by the Town and our community partners.
If you would like to submit an upcoming event for consideration in our community events newsletter, please follow the instructions and criteria below. Please note that we updated our fundraising event policy for submission to this newsletter, based on your feedback.

The event must be in Stratford or benefit Stratford residents.

Promotions are for nonprofits only — not individuals.

Updated: The community newsletter may promote fundraising events, provided they benefit local nonprofit organizations that serve Stratford residents.

The event must be open to the public, rather than being private or exclusive.

Submissions must include the event name, date, time, location, a graphic, and a link to register or learn more (if appropriate).

Submissions must be sent at least two weeks (14 days) before the event date and will be sent out biweekly, in accordance with the community newsletter schedule.

Submission does not guarantee publication.

To ensure every issue serves our residents and readers well, our staff reviews all submissions. While we strive to include as much community news as possible, we reserve the right to decline submissions that are off-topic, inaccurate, contain offensive or discriminatory material, or are not consistent with the newsletter's purpose.
