The world has changed quickly and dramatically in recent weeks as we struggle to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic. Many have suggested that what we are going through now is the largest disruption Canadians have faced since World War II. As we approach the anniversary of Victory in Europe Day, which commemorates the Allied victory over Nazi Germany in May 1945, I invite you to reflect on the resiliency that lies at the heart of our great nation and, by extension, our Canadian Armed Forces. |
