The Young Professionals (YP) Committee implores you to reach out to students regarding this opportunity. During the Ohio Section of American Water Works Association (OAWWA) Annual Conference, the YP Committee hosts a student paper competition. We give graduate students, undergraduates, and recent graduates the opportunity to submit abstracts to us on any water related research they have been involved with. The topics can range from source water protection, drinking water treatment, to water distribution and storage and so much more!

If you know of a student who have been involved with research in any water related topic, invite them to submit their abstracts to me or Sarah Hayes at the emails below by April 26, 2019 . They will either give an oral presentation at one of the technical sessions at the conference or compete in a less formal poster competition. In their abstracts, they can state which type of presentation interests them. More information on the Student Paper Competition can be found HERE .
