William Shakespeare, the famed English poet, playwright, and actor, wrote in Sonnet 18, "Summer's lease hath all too short a date."
In addition to speaking our CRE language (wink, wink), Shakespeare nailed the sentiment I think we all feel as we head into August—and cherish those last precious days of our summer lease.
And what a summer it’s been! We kicked things off with a bang, hosting the annual Eastern Regional Symposium (ERS). The event was a huge success. Sponsorship was sold out by mid-March, and the Boston tours sold out quickly. We are so proud of and thankful to all the New England Chapter members who put countless hours into planning and organizing those local events. Well done!
After that success, summer was as busy as ever, with a number of programs, summer socials
(click here for the Career Strategies + Development event photos), and our ever-popular Charitable Golf Tournament to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston. The day was a blast—as well as helped us exceed our fundraising goal. Thanks a million to our steadfast committee members for the work they do year-round to pull off this event!
