Parking Information for the 2025-26 School Year

• Seniors: Parking spots may be purchased online July 14-July 18 with a tag pick up August 5 10:00am-1:00pm.
• Juniors: Parking spots may be purchased online July 21-July 25 with a tag pick up August 6 10:00am-1:00pm.
• Sophomores: Parking spots may be purchased July 28-August 1 with a tag pick up August 7 10:00am-1:00pm based on availability.

Summer Parking Guidelines

As summer camps, workouts, sports, band, and other activities bring students to campus, we want to kindly remind everyone about parking guidelines.

Students attending any summer activities should park on the 2nd level or higher in “A” Deck, or in “B” Deck. Please do not park in the following areas:

• Visitor parking spots
• The 1st level of “A” Deck
• Along the curb outside of “A” Deck
• Along the curb outside the gymnasium

These areas are reserved for faculty and staff, many of whom are working throughout the summer.

Parents visiting CCHS during the summer may continue to use the designated visitor parking spots.

Additional Cheer Tryout Day: June 25, 2025

We are excited to announce that our additional tryout is now finalized! New to CCHS or maybe an athlete that missed our original try out dates? If the answer is yes and you are still interested in cheering for the 25-26 year this is for you! Please see the details below, and email CharlotteCatholicCheer@cchsemail.org with any questions.

• Please fill out this form to let us know you will be trying out 
• Tryout materials will be sent to you on Friday, June 20, 2025 - you/your athlete should come knowing both the band dance and cheer

COUNSELING

President's Volunteer Service Award Program

Students and Families, please read the messaging from Points of Light and AmeriCorps, the organizers of the Presidential Service Award:

As decided by AmeriCorps and effective immediately, the President’s Volunteer Service Award program is on a temporary pause. At this time, orders for awards and applications to become a Certifying Organization will not be accepted. If you have recently placed an order, it will be processed and fulfilled as usual.

Due to this announcement, there will be no Presidential Service Award process for the 2025-2026 school year. Certificates were ordered for 2024-2025 recipients and the awards ceremony will continue as usual in the Fall. Students will be contacted regarding their award status soon. Please direct any questions regarding the award to Melody Clementi.

SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES & COMMUNITY EVENTS

Summer Schola Camp

Schola is a week-long summer program for high school students. During the week we will read classic works of philosophy and literature, engage in group discussions with Honors College faculty, and experience the local culture and recreation of the beautiful Charlotte, NC, region. Students will build friendships together through conversations with peers and professors, enjoy time to relax, join in the daily prayer life on campus, and pursue outdoor activities. By the end of the program, students will have grown in wisdom, critical thinking, and camaraderie while experiencing a glimpse of life in the Honors College.

• Belmont Abbey College campus

Belmont Abbey Summer Retreat for High School Students

• July 24-26, three-day two-night overnight stay at Belmont Abbey College
• $150 includes lodging, food, and activities. If there are students who may have difficulty paying that amount, we are offering 2 scholarships per parish. Two students can pay $100 instead of the full price. Please email me their names if this happens. 
• Dive deep into the Gospel according to St. John
• Prayer: Mass, adoration, Divine Office with the Benedictine Monks, lectio divina, and more 
• Community: Experience fellowship with a hike, movie night, and other fun activities! Meet other Catholic high schoolers from the Diocese of Charlotte. 
•  Designed for rising juniors, seniors, and class of 2025 high school graduates
• The retreat will be staffed by Belmont Abbey students in the Hintemeyer Catholic Leadership Program - a great way to show high schoolers it is possible to live faithfully in college
