PARKING FOR 2026-27 SCHOOL YEAR
SENIORS ONLY: Parking fee is $90 and can be paid online at https://www.charlottecatholic.org/online-store beginning July 20th. Please bring completed parking application and receipt of payment to the Dean of Students Office July 20th-July 23rd 9:00am-12:00pm. Parking spots will be assigned based on deck selection and the next best available spot in order of receipt of completed paperwork.
JUNIORS ONLY: Parking fee is $90 and can be paid online at https://www.charlottecatholic.org/online-store beginning July 26th at 12:00pm. Please bring completed parking application and receipt of payment to the entrance of B deck July 27th from 9:00am-12:00pm. Parking spots will be assigned based on deck selection and the next best available spot in order of receipt of completed paperwork. Junior parking is based on availability.
Students who purchase a parking spot will receive their assigned parking spot at the T-shirt (Seniors)/tag pick-up beginning August 3rd 9am-12pm in the Dean of Students Office. Students must pick up their own tag.
Senior parking is not guaranteed after July 27th and will be based on availability.
*****If a student wants to park near another student, they should report together. If a student is unable to attend, they may send their completed paperwork with another student.

Hello CCHS family,
I have bittersweet news to report this week. Our beloved campus minister, Mr. Anthony Quintero, will be leaving us at the end of month, but alas for a great reason. He will be joining the seminary as he seeks to answer God’s call to the priesthood. Please make sure to reach out to him to say your goodbyes and offer well wishes. He will be with us until June 26th, and I am going to miss working with him. Remember him in your prayers as he pursues his vocation!
And speaking of vocations, this week and next, the diocese will be hosting discernment camps for ladies discerning a call to religious life and young men discerning a call to the priesthood. Some of our students will be attending, so please remember them in your prayers as well. In addition to prayer, a good family life helps to foster vocations. I encourage you to do your best to make sure the household does not discourage vocations.
It’s not just discernment camps going on; there are summer camps like VBS, Totus Tuus, Camp Hidden Lake and many others. I recommend children going to camps either as campers or counselors. I find that these camps do well to kindle in the hearts of the children that fire for love of God and service to Him. It was at a Catholic summer camp as a rising senior that I felt convincingly the call to pursue the priesthood. For that, I’m forever grateful for summer camps. The awesome thing about it too was that I only knew about the camp quite late as they were looking for more male counselors with the start of camp quickly approaching. I assured my dad it was safe to attend a camp in the woods, and he gave me the okay to attend. God is quite funny! So please make sure to sign up for these religion or bible camps. I pray that spots are still available.
The challenge for this week, in the hopes of having families that promote the faith in the home, is to attend Mass during the week as a family. I’d love to see some pictures but take them before or after Mass, not during! Have a blessed week!

As summer camps, workouts, sports, band, and other activities bring students to campus, we want to kindly remind everyone about parking guidelines.
Students attending any summer activities should park on the 2nd level or higher in “A” Deck, or in “B” Deck. Please do not park in the following areas:
- Visitor parking spots
- The 1st level of “A” Deck
- Along the curb outside of “A” Deck
- Along the curb outside the gymnasium
These areas are reserved for faculty and staff, many of whom are working throughout the summer.
Parents visiting CCHS during the summer may continue to use the designated visitor parking spots.

If you have a scheduled meeting, need a driver's eligibility form, picking up an order or computer or other campus needs, please be sure to check the website first for the current access status. | |
CCHS Office Hours
The school and school offices will have limited office hours over the summer. Please see the schedule below:

June 8 – August 3: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM Monday-Thursday. The office is closed on Fridays.

Safe Environment Training - All volunteers at CCHS, please read! The summer is a great time to make sure your account is updated or to create an account.
Effective February 19, 2026, all volunteers are now required to complete a background check and safe environment abuse prevention and education training. And once safe environment certified, annual renewal training is required. Find more information about the Diocese of Charlotte’s Safe Environment program and to register for a CMG Connect account that combines all our Safe Environment screening, onboarding and training in one place by visiting https://charlottediocese.org/offices/safe-environment/

Spirit Store Orders: The inside store is now closed for the year. Remaining and new online orders can be collected from reception during school hours. Please refer to the Daily for summer hours.
Online ordering is available, and orders will be fulfilled throughout the summer as volunteers are available.
When an order is ready for pick up, you will receive a text notification.

The Penguin Project – Mentor Opportunity
The Penguin Project pairs peer mentors with young artists who have developmental or learning disabilities. Over three months, students build friendships, rehearse, and perform in a musical production.
This year, we are presenting Seussical Jr., and the program has grown so much that we now need additional mentors. We are especially looking for male mentors to help balance the team.
There is no cost to participate, and no theatre experience is needed—just a willingness to support and be a good friend.

The 5th Annual Live Like Bryant 3v3 Basketball Tournament will be held on Sunday, August 16, at the Charlotte Catholic High School gym. This 3-person team tournament is open to all high school students 9th through 12th grade.
