Calls to our North Texas Crisis Line increased 100% as the COVID-19 crisis unfolded in real time. Nationwide, calls to Crisis Lines surged . Our North Texas community is fortunate to have crisis line specialists here at SCCenter who are well-trained in crisis intervention and often bring a caller back from the depths of despair - within the time frame of one call.

North Texas Giving Tuesday NOW is a very special opportunity for all of us to learn about and then support multiple organizations that are providing critical safety nets and hope for our North Texas community. Today, Tuesday, May 5th, 2020, from 6:00 AM to Midnight we encourage everyone to give to the many organizations that enrich our community and provide the critical services that make us strong.
