Call to Worship:
L: Welcome, friend and stranger
P: Welcome, honored guest.
L: We gather as a community to worship God,
P: To be reminded of God’s goodness,
L: To be reminded of the call to be a part of that goodness.
All: Let us learn together as we worship together, with open hearts and minds. Thank you for this day!

A Time of Centering Prayer
You are invited to join us ten minutes before our Sunday service for a
time of centering prayer. We are taking these few minutes before the
service begins to prepare our hearts and minds for worship.

We will meet in the Amaryllis Room. Please join us, beginning July 3rd.
June Missions

For the rest of June, missional giving will go to the Youth Group for gatherings, and to a charity of their choosing.

*If you are giving a special "missional gift", please make a note on your offering.
UMW event for ALL!
Grace leaders along with our UMW are pleased to bring you a very special worship experience on June 26th.
On Sunday June 26th during our 9am worship service, we will welcome a professional “storyteller” who will portray Susannah Wesley. Her story will highlight how her faith influenced her sons, John and Charles Wesley. This should be a fun way to learn about another piece of our Methodist history! We will celebrate with cake together after the service in the Fellowship Hall.

Mention in the Pine and Lakes Echo Journal. Grace event

We offer condolences to the family of Vern G. Haehnel who passed away on June 12th. HIs service will be held on July 6th at the Graham UMC in Rice. We lift in prayer especially his daughter, Marcia Kyar.
News and Upcoming Area Events

As part of Pine River Dam Days, the Pine River UMC will be selling walking tacos beginning at 11am on Saturday the 25th. Events
The Lakes Area Food Shelf is seeking community input for future planning and needs. There is a survey available online to share your ideas. You can also receive a paper copy of this survey at the LAFs or from Pastor Jen.
Sunday mornings we have returned to live streaming our Sunday services, but we realize that there are still some issues popping up some Sundays. On our website you can usually watch the recorded service after 10:30am or so. There is a link to our site at the end of this newsletter.
We continue to work on making the online experience better and appreciate both your grace and feedback as we make improvements. Soon, we will be updating our internet capabilities and are hopeful that this will fix some of the issues.
We are grateful to be able to offer our services online and appreciate any gifts received to help this ministry grow and continue.
Fellowship Help Needed!

Everyone has been enjoying the fellowship time after worship on Sunday mornings, and we are grateful to those of you have brought treats and made coffee for everyone. In an effort to allow more people to serve and to protect anyone form getting burned out, we could use some more people to take a Sunday. There is no need to provide an elaborate spread, just a sweet treat and perhaps a fruit or something else of your choosing. If you are able to just set-up, serve, and clean-up that would be helpful too. It is really up to you!
Please speak with Jody Perrine if you can help or add your name to the sign-up sheet on Sunday mornings.

The world is filled with uncertainty, and we need to consider how best to keep our church members and staff safe. Beginning June 26th, after 9am, the only door that will be open as an entrance will be the main front doors leading into the Narthex on Sunday mornings. It does not seem wise to have as many open doors that we cannot monitor. We will not lock the other doors until worship has begun, and all of the doors will still work to go out.
During the week, we will be making some changes to building access as well. We will make you aware of any changes through this newsletter and during Sunday morning announcements.
