The Board is aware that there are some concerns regarding the changes that were made to the Lakehouse Rental & Reservation Policies for 2024. These changes were made in an attempt to help ensure that reservation space is allocated equitably, to ensure that space is available as the community grows and adds new CCGAs/activities/events, and to ensure that there is sufficient staff to accommodate the many requests for Lakehouse space.
Room reservations are reviewed on an annual basis. This does sometimes mean that CCGAs will not have the same exact reservation year over year. This is an expected part of the annual room scheduling process.
However, we recognize that a handful of Clubs may have been negatively impacted in other ways regarding these recent changes. The Board will reach out to schedule a meeting with those Clubs who are facing unique challenges with their existing 2024 room reservations. If your Club has not reached out but would like to discuss their reservation, please have your Club President contact Community Manager, Kelly Salyers, via email at ksalyers@ccmcnet.com.

The 2023 Superstar fitness challenge has some to an end. If you took your Superstar card home please return it to the Lakehouse by Friday, January 12th. The Health & Wellness Committee is reviewing cards to confirm challenge winners. We will begin emailing winners soon to come claim their t-shirt.

The next phase of the Front Street/ Richmond Parkway project is set to begin January 11, 2024. If this is an area that you frequent (near downtown Richmond and the Justice Center) be aware of road closures and detours. Click the link to read more.
- The Community's entrance and Lakehouse exterior holiday decorations are scheduled to be removed on January 9th, weather permitting.
- Lost your copy of the CCRs? Curious about the design guidelines? Want to read more about policies mentioned at Board meetings? Remember, the community's governing documents, design guidelines, policies, etc. are available on the website in the Document Library.
- The annual meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, January 25th @ 4pm. Notices were recently dropped in the mail, and will be arriving in mailboxes soon. Remember to complete and return your proxy before 5pm on Wednesday, January 24th at the latest. Residents who turn in their proxy early (by end of day Monday, January 22nd) will have their name entered into a drawing for a door prize.
REMINDERS
- Q1 Assessments are due January 1st, and are late if not received by January 30th. Payment options are outlined on your statement and on the mysweetgrass.net website under the "resident" drop down. If you cannot find your account number or need additional assistance, please contact the Customer Service team at 1-833-301-4538. Assessment payments are not accepted at the Lakehouse.
- Chartered Clubs - Please do not forget to send in your 2023 financial report and current members list by the end of January. You can use the link on the mysweetgrass.net website, or email them directly to sweetgrasstx@ccmcnet.com .

Holiday Lights and Decoration Removal:
Thank you to all of the homeowners who took the time to decorate their homes this year. The twinkling lights, festive ornaments, and charming decorations have truly created a sense of community and celebration. There were some wonderful new additions this year and hopefully, we can have even more in 2024.
We also wanted to send a quick reminder that all holiday decorations and lighting on your Lot should be removed on, or before, January 10th.
